    Power steering bushing 03+

Thank you for the feedback. If I wind up switchimg to an LC rack (I have a small leak that I'm hoping AT205 will correct) you're welcome to mine. I'll keep you posted. Are you able to comment about the top and bottom plates of the bushings? When you have replaced bushings in the past, do these...

    Power steering bushing 03+

For the first part, I found this For the second comment, my question wasn't posed out ignorance (or lack of searching). I genuinely have not find anyone else who has commented about the after effects except for "everything's great, saved some cash". I love finding little Easter eggs like this...

So what happens to the vgrs ECU when you install a non vgrs rack? Do these trucks live with warning lights on the dash forever?

    charcoal canister outlet hose

Speaking of cutting open black boxes - have you ever dissected an evap canister? I don't suppose you'd have pics for reference? Edit - I found the thread with pics where the guy cut open the back side to replace the charcoal. By the way, I think the RAV4 charcoal canister may be the exact...

    charcoal canister outlet hose

It seems odd that a single part consists of 2 hoses connected to a black box. From my understanding of the evap system, my guess is that the box is an inline filter designed to remove any particulates from the evap vapors before entering the manifold. Which means that we can use any inline fuel...

Did the 03+ LC have vgrs though? If you put a non vgrs rack in a vgrs truck, how does the system act? I read your posts about noticeably different steering at low speeds. I would imagine you'd have a dash full of lights forever.

Calling all EVAP gurus - p0441 p0455 - help please

I wondered about the fuel filter neck. I thought I saw a post a while back about a 0455 being due to that. Where have you seen the leaks occur though? The bleed line is welded to the main neck and the vent line from the tank sits in a collar on the fill neck (I was surprised that it wasn't...

    Power steering bushing 03+

Yes sir, but for now and likely ever more, daddy bear is unobtainium. I had a lead on a single new OEM VGRS rack but that is now gone. Hence my interest in the Mitsu bearings, or custom making A65 poly bushings that will be Mama bear's new fling ;).

No issues with VSCs, especially on sweeping turns? BTW, my bucket list involves a motor swap involving your v12 TT. What a beast!!

Calling all EVAP gurus - p0441 p0455 - help please

New to me 06 lx470, 283K on the dash, p0441 and p0455 have been intermittently appearing since purchase. I would bet that this was happening before purchase because the only thing new under the hood is the purge VSV, which is some aftermarket unbranded part. First thing I did was replace the...

    Power steering bushing 03+

thanks for that reply! what has your experience been with them? how long have you had them installed? there was a thread a while back that brought up a mitsubihshi bushing that had a bit longer metal cup and a bit thinner outer rubber pad than the bushing which he had installed. the issue...

    Power steering bushing 03+

It seems that this topic has been discussed ad nauseum, but there are couple questions I have for the group. For the OEM bushing - can anyone clarify that it is actually 3 parts? Inner metallic sleeve, rubber material, outter metallic cup? I thought I read that it's just metal cup and rubber...
