Appears to just be the mirror glass itself. The housing is stable. Whats the trick to removing it to inspect? Just pry it out with a plastic pry tool?

My drivers side rearview mirror is a little shaky. Any advice on where to start looking for loose fittings is appreciated.

I used an obd tool to reset the code and 4 days later it hasnt come back. Hopefully it was just a one-off. Unlike the first time where i had codes p043e p043f p2401 p2402 p2419 i only had the p0456 this time

Autozone will read the codes for you for free. When i had this issue it ended up being my fuel vapor cannister failing an "overnight vapor test".

I ended up "fixing" this by noticing i hadnt plugged it in. I did take the module out of the door and test it with a 9v battery. Its just a very simple LED bulb in a special case. If it does break in the future it should be easy to replace with a solsering iron.

Are you letting the CVs break in before stressing them? Ive learned from racing wheel bearings and cvs need to get babied until they heat up and the grease has a chance to spread out
