With a Heavy heart, I think its time to test the waters. If anyone knows of an enthusiast interested, please pass along my info. I'd love to see it go to a good home, I've worked so hard on it, and it was only possible with a ton of help here from you guys...

I dont know how well this will work on a 97 (OBDII) Rig..... I would doubt it will at all.

Is it shippable? I know you prefer not to, but if you cant get it sold locally I may be interested. Keep me posted.

Machine shop has my head and asked me to bring by the valve stem seals from the gasket kit I bought off Onur. So that I don’t have to drive out there twice, anything else they will ask for that I’m unaware of or not thinking of? (Noob head rebuilder, first one I’ve had done!)

I promised an update when it was fixed. It’s fixed, new injectors did the trick.

Now that I have a TPS code, Im reasonable sure youre right. Ill dig into that in the next few days and follow up. Thanks to all!

And, I think we have some help. Codes popped today, first time it’s thrown a code 41, simple enough. 83,84,85 - scary.

So, this weekend saw new O2 sensors, and I finally put the fuel filter in that has been laying in its box in my pile of parts since I bought the 80. 02 sensors didnt make any difference, and then the fuel filter came next, test drive had it do it right out of the gate and then it got better...

No. Im not even sure where I'd buy a new VFM if thats what was wrong......... Do you suspect that? I could always wiggle its connector and examine that its tight and not moving I suppose.

Update, after a new fuel pump, a new fuel pressure regulator, and adjusting kick down cable and installing new throttle cable, its still acting up on the way to work yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon it ran flawlessly, and this morning it did it once on the way to work. Now Im thinking a...
