Bearing was squealing on the back and diff oil pissed out when I slackened off the flanges. Inspected the bearings and they seemed good, probably just needed new seals and repacked with grease, but installed new bearings and races anyway Am I the only one who just swaps in new parts as policy...

Well Partsouq had them listed for a '97 The attachment points look the same for these ones, but they're a lot taller than the ones I took off with the runner board cutouts. I think I'll buy them and give them a go P/N's 7660460021 7660360021

I would systematically go over all of my earths, clean them and renew as needed I'm not saying that's your problem, but that's where I would start
