These new aluminium "steelie" wheels from the fjcompany are pretty sweet!

More wheel eye candy, since I put the top and doors back on yesterday:

    FJ40 Rear Bench Seat

Anyone that stumbles on to this - I removed the Bench seat (from my previous pics and links to product page) in favor of Jump Seats. I'll likely be selling the bench seat complete with hardware and seat belts, if anyone is near NJ and interested - shoot me a DM.

Just received the one and only part I order from $$$SOR. Rip off seat foam. see comment

Would you mind terribly, measuring the distance from where your butt sits, to the floor? I need a seat solution that is lower than my current set up. Thanks!

Anyone recognize this Blue 1971, and/or it's mods?

Then just before my second summer vacation, The FJ Company 16 X 6 aluminum "steelies" arrived, and I had Toyo Open Country 255/85R16 installed. They are the tallest and skinniest set up so far, and they balanced and drive like a dream. I think I can finally put the wheel/tire thing to rest, and...

Anyone recognize this Blue 1971, and/or it's mods?

So late August, I finally found a place to custom cut my windshield, and only 20 miles from home! Allstate Auto Glass, in Elmer NJ: Then early September I got a bug up my ass to fit the 15X10 Methods w/ 33x12.5 Toyos from my Toyota Pickup. That was just a stupid heavy set up IMHO, and I only...

These new aluminium "steelie" wheels from the fjcompany are pretty sweet!

Hey, my wheels were just delivered earlier this week, and they should be all mounted up by this Saturday. I didn't know about the hat deal, can I also forward my invoice for a hat? I just mention my forum name? Thanks!

Anyone recognize this Blue 1971, and/or it's mods?

Wow, 10 months since I updated! Let's see what my Google pics come up with over that time . . . End of October it was time to put the top back on, but before I did that, I acquired the correct clamps and folded down the windshield for a nice cruise around town: Here's a shot of the Quik...

I don't like hearing this, as I've been considering consulting with them as they are relatively close to me. Have your issues been resolved?

    FJ40 Fuel tank hose

Bringing this up from the dead, in case anyone searches and finds this thread, as I did. I have a 1971 FJ40, and could not find any of the discontinued hose assemblies. My fuel hose looked to be original, so congrats Toyota on 50 years between hose replacement! Anyhoo, Cool Cruisers makes just...

SOLD  Pre 1975 Windshield Hinge Set - Need Right and Left for 1971

As the title says, I'm looking for a right and left windshield hinge set that will work on my 1971 (shorter hinges; windshield wiper motor on top of windshield). Will be blasted and painted, but would prefer no broken or squashed hole openings. Thanks for looking! EDIT: Sorry I should have...

Anyone recognize this Blue 1971, and/or it's mods?

So . . . I mounted the Methods with 33x12.5 and honestly don't like it at all. So I took off each Baja wheel , cleaned, shined and dressed the tires properly. I think I can move away from the wheels/tires for a while now.

Anyone recognize this Blue 1971, and/or it's mods?

Pics Continued: Then recently I purchased a set of Method wheels for my Pickup, Red. I used the large tires that initially came with Blue when I first purchased, so five tires I bought five wheels. Well I couldn't resist rolling the spare in front of one of Blue's tires, and now I want...

Anyone recognize this Blue 1971, and/or it's mods?

I think around July/August I ordered some MC Designs Offroad - Quik Hinges and MetalTech Tube Doors. Once those items arrived, I removed the roll bar to get it powder coated black to match the tube doors. That was a good call - I love it. While the roll bar was away, I took some pics, and drove...
