LX470 side view mirror wiring help

The connector(s) for the new mirror: There's an 18 pin, and what appears to be a coax connector? Unfortunately I don't know what year truck this came off. Ideally I'd like to find a wiring diagram for this new mirror and just swap the connector over from the old one. I'd like to maintain the...

LX470 side view mirror wiring help

Hey all, I recently had an incident involving the side of my garage which ended with me needing a new mirror. Found one on Ebay, same color code, advertised as folding, heated, etc. No biggie right? Figured it would be an easy afternoon install. Well the mirror arrived today and I got to it...

Where to buy? TJM Pro Locker for Lx470 Rear

That's a fair point. I figured if something was to grenade it wouldn't likely be a part of the locker itself, but more likely driveshaft or ring gear. I suppose you never know though. I think I'll end up going with an Eaton unit in the rear after all.

How To Find A Companion Connector - Electrical/Stereo/Nakamichi

Yep! That part connector and pins is a direct fit. As far as I can tell these are either actually oem parts, or if not they're a very good copy. No complaints!

    Ahc 2006 LX470 leak.

Do you have an updated link for this resource? I'm trying to diagnose/understand the AHC system on my '98 LX and this sounds exactly what I'm looking for. Link returns a 404 though :(

Which Limited Slip Diff in 98-99 LX470....?

Super helpful, thank you both! A rear locker may in the cards in the future. I've heard that the front diff is a bit more fragile though, so I was thinking of doing an upgrade up there first, and just rebuilding the LSD in the rear to keep cost down.

What's the "extra" connector in my steering wheel for?

Oops, you're right! It's a '98 LX470. I did manage to hunt down what it's for though! Basically, I backreferenced the connector that the cruise control wires run though, and was able to trace it down that way. Turns out it's a switch to activate the mic for the optional built-in cell phone...

What's the "extra" connector in my steering wheel for?

Hey all, I've done a bit of digging, but I can't for the life of me figure out what this connector coming out of the clock spring is wired for. It's a black and green wire going into the same connector as the horn and cruise control. The backstory is that I'm building a custom head unit and...

Which Limited Slip Diff in 98-99 LX470....?

I know this is an old thread but... Does anyone have any information on rebuilding these LSDs? I have a '98 LX with the LSD, but after 250,000+ miles it doesn't do a whole lot any more. I've been digging around on Toyota/Lexus dealer sites to try and track down part numbers for the spring...
