Looking for something preferably between Sacramento and Orange County.
Basically trying to do a front Disc Conversion on my 74 FJ40. Open to other creative front disc options as well.
I'd also consider an 80 Front for the right price.
I built a similar kitchen setup and use a tank mounted underneath the truck between the 4x4Labs bumper from Welcome to Class A Customs - https://www.classacustoms.com . They do custom sized tanks as well.
93 stock engine and trans 344k Miles runs absolutely perfect (other then this minor issue) , I just got the truck a month ago but do have a 4 inch thick folder of receipts and it appears all regular maintenance has been done. engine is 100% stock. It also just passed California smog when I...
I have done some research on this issue and have ended up reading about a lot of similar issues on 4 runners and Toyota mini-trucks but not too much on the LC. What's happening is the truck just doesn't seem to be running right under 3000 rpm, once it hits 3000rpm there is an instant boost in...
"Transfer Case

Let me do a little bit more research, I just lined up a 4L80E I am checking out tonight and waiting to hear back from Marks in Australia who makes the adapter. I am in Santa Barbara and go to LA often so I would be able to meet up and pick it up one day after work this week.
Do you have a recommendation? I have been reading the "split case" is a strong one. I am just trying to save money where I can on my swap and the FJ60 to 4L80E adapter is half the price as the FJ80 T case adapter + I want to do away with full time 4wd.
Thanks for any input .
I am collecting parts for an FJ80 LS Swap and am planning on going with the FJ60 T case to save money on the adapter. Located in Santa Barbara and willing to drive to pick it up.
