There was a post on reddit a few weeks back but a former toyota tech who was opening his own place. No personal experience but might be worth reaching out to about the mechanical stuff.

hey guys, while I appreciate the advice from the 80-series legal team... I don't have the energy or time to try and pursue something like that.
Like I've already said. I gambled and lost. Have to own it. I am going to contact the seller but don't expect a lot out of that conversation...
It does, and the Torque app was showing good readings according to the wave diagram in the FSM. But like I mentioned, after a 25 min drive getting the engine hot and turning the car off for a bit, once I restarted I got no reading from either of them, along with no reading on STFT.
Would not having cats present drivability issues like I mentioned in the first post? Based on the amount of rust on that straight pipe there i'd imagine its been that way for a long time.
Thanks. Trying to stay positive. Was the seller a scam artist? Maybe. All the s*** wrong with this thing could have been from any of the 5 previous owners too.. And had I known more / paid closer attention to things I probably wouldn't have hit "accept". Not looking to start a witch hunt on...

Yeah the sunroof looks s***ty...
Heard. No scrolling here, bought a used FSM on ebay, came with its own grease on the pages.
Yeah not sure yet what it is, but it has some metal hold down clips that i'm guessing should have been screwed into something
100% Agree.
I'm not sure but i'm going to wager they are of no help. At...

I'm a long-time import car guy. My wife and I had our 15 minutes of fame several years ago coming from the Nissan Z world. I owned a highly modified 2009 Nissan 370Z and my wife owned a...
No skin in the game, but bumping this as there's a recent FS thread by this person, which is too bad because its a nice looking truck. But not trying to buy something across the country from a known scammer. thanks OP for posting.
