I have a 67 with original cluster and gauges. I just put in a new tank with new sending unit and now the fuel gauge reads full 100% of the time. I swear I read somewhere that the new sending units don't match up with the old gauges because the voltage output is different. Am I imagining that I...
Not sure if this thread is still active. If it is I have a 67 FJ40. I'm looking for windshield wiper switch, hazard switch, heater switch and I saw the rear header bar in the above pics. Not 100% sure of whether these will work with my 67 but do you still have them?
I'm hoping this has been covered before. I have looked thru old posts with no luck. I have a 67 FJ40 with a chevy 283. I am looking to do a power steering swap from the original saginaw manual. Does anyone have any thoughts or resources to point me to to try and figure this out?
Ya, I'm actually an electrician so I will go over and above with some of that stuff as well. The fuel pump and coil cutoffs are good ideas. I'll probably add those as well.
Unfortunately most of the stock switches are gone. What I will probably do is get temp switches to get it going and put it back to stock as I find replacement stock switches.
