It appears Fernando could drive it without ripping every tooth off the other gears 😂.
These came out of that transfer case.
I am surprised it didn't lock up and split the case in half.
I am running a newer t-case I bought off the form here 15+ years ago. That shipping cost me a full day in customs.
I have 2 transfer cases with bad idler gears.
I would like to rebuild both and mothball one for my son. He will eventually end up with the old 40.
WTB idler gear with shaft for transfer case.
Mine lost a tooth.
The wreck I bought is also junked gear. They drive it with no bearing.
Shipped to Florida in box or icecream pale. I'll take it from there.
Drift brake comes in handy on the trails and fun in the mud. I have strap that hooks on the handle and can use it for an E- brake.
💥 Box is a must. I can't go into lots of places with it so lock it up. Car jacking cruisers is profitable.
I rather have fast easy access.
I was trying to figure out this weird transmission I still have sitting here after over a decade.
I think I will pull it out or the crate today and clean it up. It appears to be some weird transmission.
I had to change my name on the form. I got locked out some time ago .
So I have been lurking around here for 23+ years I'm guessing.
I just fired up my 1965 fJ 40 on LPG yesterday.
My old friend said I should drop you all a line.
I think I was going under the named hammered long ago but got locked out.
This was a photo of when it was at it's finest. Now needs...
I still have this 1974 HJ 45 transmission with the bull low 1st. Anyone know this model? I tried it out and didn't like it. I t was like having a 3 speed and I took off in 2nd.
