What are the rules on bringing in a diesel import into the USA?

interestingly there is a rare and important vehicle exemption that allows you to import a vehicle less than 25yo into the US. There are limits on how much you can drive it but with how few LC there are in the US, you might be able to sneak one in?

    AC Delay

I'll try that. I'm going to have to look at the recirculation door as well. hopefully they didn't damage it.

    AC Delay

My wife took the LC in for an oil change, now the AC definitely has a delay and resets to 75. Frustrating but hopefully fixable.

    Toyo OpenCountry AT3 Experience?

I have AT3 285/70/17 on RW, P rated SL. Honestly they have been great. No complaints. Look good, perform great in rain and snow. Noise? They are louder than stock but honestly not much. I realize that is subjective, not to bash others. Big fan of the tires!

    Rear Wing/Diffuser

I'm wondering if just a small modification to it, adding a lip at the end of it for example would maintain its aerodynamic benefits and work better to keep the glass clean. Not a huge pain, just noticeable in a rainy climate that it doesn't seem to help at all.

    Rear Wing/Diffuser

It is painfully obvious that the rear "wing" is useless at decreasing wind/rain/snow and everything else from the rear window. If anything it seems to make it worse. Anyone ever considered or tried adding a spoiler to the spoiler? add something like this...

    Happy Rock Warrior Day

thanks! Mine look bad but I'm not ready to take the wheels off to change them. I'd love a permanent fix. Thanks!

    Happy Rock Warrior Day

Sorry for the stupid question: The only way to change these is to remove the wheel, correct?

    Happy Rock Warrior Day

Mine are faded and could be replaced. It doesn't bother me so at least for now I'm going to ignore them. But I wonder what other options there are to keep them on and just resurface/repaint? I'd like a do it once and be done with it solution. I'd love for a forged center cap that matches and...

Doug Demuros thoughts on killing the LC.

I'm a big fan of DD. I think he does a reasonable job of reviewing cars and pointing out interesting features. I think he honestly loves and appreciates the LC and I agree with his assessment. I think Toyota has done a terrible job of marketing the LC. I realize the cost of new is high but in...

    Toyo OpenCountry AT3 Experience?

@blueridgeJB So far I've been very pleased with the ATIII's on RW. We don't have any mods and aren't planning on anything major. On the freeway there is a noise but is slight. Definitely not intrusive. They handle well at speed, I really can't notice any difference from stock. I live in the...

    Anyone run P-rated tires?

I just installed ATIII p-metric 285/70/17 on RW, So far so good. slightly noisier than stock, ride is comparable to stock. So far I'm very pleased. It is currently my wife DD, she is very very very worried about ride comfort. So far no complaints.

    Toyo OpenCountry AT3 Experience?

I just got the ATIII P285/70R17 with RW wheels installed this week. I ended up going P-metric mostly for comfort as my wife complains about bumpy rides and she is now daily driving it. So far they feel very smooth on the freeway, are great in the wet/rainy PNW and look great! I think the...
