    Hard steering - bad steering shaft?

    Been driving my 99 lx470 around the field, no crazy terrain. Suddenly it’s harder to turn, seems to get hard at 3 o’cllock. No issues with fluid loss or anything, no whining. Any ideas?

    The gauge goes all the way up on start but back down so probably isn’t the motor right?

    My friend's a mechanic, so is his dad, they seem to think my lx470 is too rusty on the frame, something about where the lift would bolt into the frame? Is that possible? Mine came with the AHC removed, no idea what suspension was put in there but was considering a lift at some point

    99 LX470, put a new gas tank in, gauge seemed to work prior. After replacing the tank and trying two different sending units, still no luck. Any other ideas besides replacing the whole cluster?

    Hope this is the appropriate place to ask. I have someone that can do a paint job on my lx470 for 1000 if I can provide the paint. Looking to just paint it white but looking for a good quality paint and I'm a newb. Any recommendations on finding a deal on quality paint and clearcoat?

    It’s either double or single with a double din size with a larger screen, the actual opening was beyond 7” diagonally so the smaller ones seemed like it’d leave space but maybe I made a mistake

    I measured across the open slot and it was closer to 9 than 7, I measured diagonally. Was that incorrect?
