For Sale Dallas, TX. 1981 LWB FJ45 for sale

You know how those SA trucks can be sometime… Pricing these things is hard, very few on the market so I’m open to suggestions. Obviously I can sell it for $4k but looking to be honest with what I have and get honest offers in return.

For Sale  Dallas, TX. 1981 LWB FJ45 for sale

Asking $25,000 OBO. I’m looking to move this truck relatively quickly so all reasonable offers will be considered, honest review of the truck is below. SOR headliner will be included in the deal as well as whatever parts I still have sitting around. 1981 Toyota Fj45 LWB for sale, imported from...

Thank you for the correction on the manifold, and I do believe the hole is threaded. SOR and I think the truck is after 8/80 and possibly up to an ‘84

It didn’t before getting it home but I’ve been running into several problems that have crept up. I don’t remember removing anything from the hole causing the vacuum issue and I don’t remember anything being there before. Is something supposed to be attached at this point? Anyone know if I can...

So... the Venezuelan truck has been as much fun as everyone predicted... home made parts holding things together, everything is missing at least one bolt, and fixing one problem causes another part to fail somewhere else. But I’m getting there! Alternator, water pump, radiator hoses are all...

Cut the stripped nut off and saved the pulley and clutch, however the water pump from Orilleys has a smaller pulley stud diameter than the pump on the engine. Working with SOR to source, stay tuned. Venezuelan trucks are proving interesting to work on.

Owner previous to the one I bought it from apparently put in a 70 series dash so it makes sense to me that they would’ve taken other parts from the 70 (like rear axle and transmission). I’ll try to post VIN tonight

I’m not sure if it’s a Dana or Toyota axle sorry, but pictures are attached for clarification. Hand brake is on the floor behind the shifter. (the wet concrete is from washing the underside). @Living in the Past unfortunately I’m not in AZ anymore but I do miss it.

@whitey45 @1969FJ, I hear what you’re saying for sure and I’m expecting to find a lot more issues (like the doors are a bit mashed because someone had a 70 series dash in it before). But if it counts for anything the PO imported the truck when he moved from Venezuela and isn’t importing any ole...
