I just replaced the original tensioner at 225K. The belt was starting to rub the side of the tensioner body. It wore a groove in it and squealed pretty bad at certain rpm’s. I tried changing the pulley but it didn’t make a difference. I guess the tensioner was weak enough it let the belt creep...

I guess it must be the left light, I changed the fuses and the highbeam indicator works again. And now the right side high/low beams work too. When I try to hook up the left light it pops the fuses again. When I tried the left side light over on the right side it popped those fuses too. So...

I have a 2001 LC and the head lights do not work now (high beam and low beam). All the other lights do work and I've checked all the blade-type fuses in the engine compartment fuse box. There are four of them for Left and Right high and low beams, they are all fine but I will replace them...

Deleted roof rack and running boards. Replaced the front bumper with TJM and the rear bumper with the kit from Coastal Offroad. The grille and headlight units are from www.landcruisergrilles.com with Morimoto Super7 Bi-LED Headlights. Still need to source some offroad lights for the grille...

My 4 yo son wanted a "Stormtrooper truck." This is the result so far. Last picture: Put Hella fog lights in the grille last weekend. One of the LED headlights had a short so I am awaiting its replacement. Had to put the OEM light back on and go with the cyborg look, kinda like it.

I saw a thread for someone that removed the trim on a LC. Then had LinerX cover the tab holes with foil tape and spray it black from the trim line to the bottom of the door.. It looked great! You couldn't tell where the tab holes were in the doors. I think they offer different colors too.

I like that idea, maybe use thin stainless steel panels since you're not building it for rock crawling. Only need to paint the "frame" for rust protection.

FWIW, I'd fix up it myself... The damage looks very minor. I'm not sure why it would have a salvaged title.
