    Tire and Wheel Recommendations Needed

I had 275/70/18s for years on a lifted 200, including before/after adding bumpers and everything. That’s an easy size to live with. I switched somewhat recently to a 285/75/17 which is slightly taller and slightly wider but is still very manageable. I’d recommend 275/70/18 or 285/70/18, likely...

Welcome! Car looks great. Do you have paint protection or some sort of film on the rear bumper by chance?

    Order of modifications

I had a similar experience at Slee and was talked out of a long list of thinks that I thought I needed… they are a world class shop.

    Order of modifications

I feel obligated to tell you I have a fully built 2015 with literally almost every conceivable modification and a 2020 with next to nothing done to it… and that isn’t a coincidence. I bet there are a lot of other folks here like me that learned by going overboard on a build and then deliberating...

    Main/Sub tank sticker?

Would love one of these if it exists…

    import a 2013 LX570 or buy a local 2019 LC200

2019 LC — it’s not even close. You’re either dramatically underestimating the complexity of importing or you’re discounting the headache for future service and ownership for a car that was never sold in your market. Not worth the hassle, respectively, for something like a 2013 LX570, I’m sorry.

Lack of availability on front bumpers

I have 2015 with the the full ARB bumper: Unless you’re in an area where animal strikes are a real reality, then then lighter, typically aluminum-based designs from some of the top US manufacturers might make more sense. I love the traditional look of ARB, but if I were doing it again I would...

Opinions wanted: LED offroad driving lights

Slee installed them, they are wired to a separate switch under the dash. As you’re saying, I would wire then to the high beams on a dual trigger if I did it again… much easier to quickly turn on and off

Opinions wanted: LED offroad driving lights

I have LP9 Pros, driving combo, in amber. They produce a lot of light, they look great, and that said I don’t know if I would buy them again. Lightforce seems to have much better throw/distance and that might be a better match for me. The new ARB lights, despite looking a little odd, also seem...

    TPMS Pricing

I also switched to aftermarket last time around which allowed me to easily work with a great wheel/tire shop that rebalanced the poor work of the dealership, improved the ride, and saved me ~$450. The factory option isn’t always the best if the person doing the install doesn’t have the necessary...

Help me vet out a flexible rack solution.

If I were doing it again, I wouldn’t have a Prinsu rack on my built ‘15 LC. I think I would have found a crossbar solution, maybe Eezi-Awn or Alu-Cab bars if I were doing a quick mount/dismount of a RTT. Alternatively I would consider options like what you’re describing if I had skis, roof...

    LX600 vs Supercharged LX570

Probably a more direct comparison to the LX700H, which can be can $140-150k. The LX700 makes similar power (albeit in a much more complicated way with hybrid and twin turbo)

    LX600 vs Supercharged LX570

I’m not an authority on this by any means. Many others have more direct, hands-on experience and would likely be (much) better informed. That being said, we need more cowboys to test the platform, push the aftermarket to provide more options, etc. so thank you for your service. For reference...

    LX600 vs Supercharged LX570

If Toyota had offered the supercharger with a TRD tune from a dealership, this might be a more reasonable comparison. If both were offered new today at the same cost and with the same warranty, I too would choose the 200 series. Mostly for the aesthetics and the V8. Once you start comparing...
