The h55f is stronger?

This may be a bit of a Hail Mary but I was wondering for those who have done a Ls and NV4500 in their FJ40 if they had a parts list for the swap? I’m trying to do this as budget friendly as possible which means avoid labor costs as much as I can.

What’s your setup? What trans did you run with your LS?

Have you done electric fan rather than mechanical? Have you done any upgrades to the 2f to kind of get a little more response from it?

Could you still do a SBC and just do fuel injection to get better MPG? Or are you saying better gas mileage with LS rather than your small block

I need honest opinions!! I have a 78 fj40 and it has the 2f with stock 4spd trans. My goal is to get it to drive somewhat “modern” like be able to cruise at 60mph+ and not have the engine scream at me. I have debated doing a 5.3ls swap with stock 4spd trans I have debated h55f for overdrive...
