I did this last week on my 03 LX. The intermediate shaft 2 replacement solved my steering play. It is tight as a drum.
I'm dealing with some north east corrosion, so I used stands to get the front wheels off the ground to make it easy to maneuver.

here are a couple of pictures of the vgrs ecu and it shows the port that corresponds to the procedure. It is located on the left wall, below dash, in driver's footwell. Getting the plugs is a knuckle-buster I unbolted it. It has another ECU hanging next to it.
