Got the darn thing in there finally. Weather and schedule has not worked out for me to get this done like I wanted but what can ya do? Overall if I had to do this job again I think I could do it in 4-5 hours. Maybe a little faster on a lift… but on the ground it’s a greasy nasty annoying job...

Done for the night, I’ll not do this again without a lift (I think this is a trend with me and the jobs I choose to do lol). Everything is looking much cleaner now, everything is actually silver again instead of black and caked with grease! More photos to come!

More photos of the cleaned up and greased up OFH and blown out rack next to the new one. Tbh I can’t fault the thing, unless somebody replaced this with a Toyota unit before, this is the factory rack at 303k… and that’s why a new Toyota unit is going back in!

So a few days have passed, and I’ve been off and on working on this. WHAT A PAIN this can be. However, it’s one of those things where there’s a silver lining once you figure out the trick to get a wrench in a certain way, twist something for more leverage, etc. I’ve mostly just been frustrated...

Started on the rack job finally. In theory this is a very straight forward job, but some of the hardware locations is just a pain in the a**, which is where most of my time has been spent so far lol All the bolts and nuts have came right out with no PB blaster at all, but the leak on the...

Welp. My drivers side inner tie rod has finally gotten to the point where I’m gonna have to do some wrenching again, in reality they’ve both developed some play on acceleration, but the drivers side is pretty bad at this point. I weighed my options on rebuilding my rack or buying a reman factory...

Finally got them put on this afternoon, what a huge difference in the looks and the way it drives! Please don’t mind my absolutely filthy tires, I haven’t had a chance to wash the thing since they were installed. Everything balanced out great, and I can tell a different in the way it turns...

Been having a few issues with two of my wheels. They keep losing air from around the valve stems and after trying everything we know, they keep doing it so I ordered a set of stealth customs F5’s, and I’m hoping they’ll be here before next weekend! I wasn’t really wanting to buy wheels right...

Been eyeballing 200’s lately. I’d like to hang onto this 100 and have them both, but the more I’ve thought about it, the less that makes sense. Either way, if I decide to sell, I’ll give mud the first dibs on it before I post it elsewhere. For now though, I’d like to find some time to take this...

Took the 100 fishing near the Dam last night, got the camera out and snapped a few photos. This one is my favorite of the lot though!

Wanting to get some small little projects done on the ol 100, just gotta find the time to do it. Mostly I’m wanting to get my oem driving light switch hooked up so I don’t have an awkward little button hanging out of the switch hole lol I found a part number that works well and even matches the...

I appreciate that, thank you! Hopefully I’ll be able to get many more modifications and some adventures documented in here over the years :)

I think the front suspension is settled in now. Truck drives great, and is an improvement over the AHC system imo. Gonna get it lined up this week and see how close we can get it. I’d really like to get UCA’s before doing an alignment but that’s just not possible right now, so that will have to...

Finally got everything buttoned up this afternoon! Overall, the lift install itself was not that bad. The shock nuts on the rear were a huge pain (especially on the drivers side), but everything else was just a matter of simple unbolting and preparing for new parts to be installed. I certainly...
