Yes! What I learned (from an old co-worker that was an expat in one of Toyota's plants in Japan) is that apparently the side steps, among many other things, could be custom-ordered however you wanted from the factory. Unfortunately, for me, it means that in order to have a clean rocker look...

Long time lurker, first time poster... Finally got my hands on a 2008 JDM LC200 (with a 4.7L V8 (2UZ-FE) engine, cloth interior, no sunroof, no KDSS, just gen1 crawl control) with 51K kms! ~4 months after winning the auction, it finally got delivered at the Vancouver port... Couple of weeks ago...
