Nice find! I bet it put a smile on your face like me when I found a nos Bakelite light switch in the glove compartment of my 63 fixedtop when I was cleaning it out

It was painted body colour from what I've seen, best way to describe would be "cardboard leather" but very fragile now after 54 years, although the red 63 is complete I've planned on using thin sheet metal and painting body colour on my other 63 which doesn't have any trim left

From what I have gathered mid 1963 was floor shift as standard in Australia, I have a two mid 1963 fj45s with stamped bezels and one has no evidence of column shift and the other which is only 13 fj45's older has column shift, both are second generation 3speed though.

Cyclone is exactly its purpose, it works the same way a precleaner on a bulldozer or tractor works by swirling the inducted air forcing the foreign matter (dust' bees' grass seed) to the outside and downward where its caught in the collector
