Haha! touché.
Good shocks sounds like what i need. P.O. had a set of 5-6" lift Rancho shocks, not sure how old they are.
I'll look around the forums to see if i can find a better option for my situation. Most likely Bilsteins.
Thanks guys
Prior to restoration. May stay with 35s because they are very comfortable on road and capable off-road! If I go with 33s I'll drop the lift by 2". Should still allow for good articulation of the axles. Let me know what you think! I can share a link to a video driving around if that helps you decide.
Congratulations! We hope to be blessed with that many years together.
Looks like it's just the angle of the tire & lighting. :)
It's going to be painted heath grey. Can't wait to drive it again. Nothing like a 40.

more excellent info! I'm so glad I posted. I'll try and get in contact with the dealer over there. Sounds like a great conversation at the very least.
I didn't know copper state cruisers was in AZ. Thx again for all the info!
Thanks a Steve. I didn't think about asking used car lots & hot rod shops. Great idea!
I appreciate the advice! Such a helpful community here. Blessed!
Thank you for the reply and encouragement! It's true, I do have some time to figure it out. Haha! Great story! Sounds like you have something special.
No photoshop, why do you ask?
Long story short:
Purchased the FJ40 over a year ago. I'm 22 and have invested 1500 hours, and 15k+ in brand new oem parts, restoration tools, etc...
Took it apart after driving it twice thinking i could restore it quickly.
Took longer than expected.
Was working on it outside my parent's house...
Hi, I'm looking for a pair of short jump seats with good bones. Condition of the vinyl is not important. I really appreciate any feedback. If you know someone who might have a pair. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
