The early tundra one didn’t work… very close but the little arm that connects to the wire is slightly different..

Something I have been thinking about since successfully replacing the little motor in my drivers side door is if the door lock actuator from an early tundra would work? Any thoughts about that? I might just order one and see.. mainly because I didn’t feel like I could get the plastic case back...

That’s a great idea! I’m also contemplating trying to repair the rack, it leaks at the steering shaft but it might be smart to get a salvage yard one and then fix the one that comes off and keep as a spare

Hi, I’ve got a 1996 Tacoma 2.7 auto ( yes I miss my 60 every day..) I need to replace the rack on it and found out that the Toyota one is around a grand just for the part. Any suggestions on a remanufactured or aftermarket one?

I just had the alternator professionally rebuilt, it works great!

the alternator is going to be replaced this week.
