I've used Davenport Motors in Plano. They are a Toyota/Lexus specific shop. They serviced my AHC system including a pretty significant replacement of several parts, they understand the system which not even all Lexus dealerships do.
More info: warnings went away after driving for 5 minutes and cycling the power.
They come back when I try and shift into 4lo (doesn’t shift, warnings just show up).
I can get by without 4lo on this trip (not doing any trail stuff) but anything to look at before going?
I’m supposed to take the LX570 to Colorado tomorrow (from Texas), so of course I get a check VSC error today. Flashing 4lo (though vehicle is actually in 4hi), flashing ABS.
Code pulled is: C1268 Transfer L4 position switch circuit
Any hope getting whatever this is taken care of today?
I did the A12 update a few days ago. I only use the VLine for wireless CarPlay so I didn't have any additional apps I was worried about losing. So far the unit seems much quicker and responsive, but haven't been running it long enough to know if there are any longer term problems.
I had a mouse nest on my filter recently. He'd made it from the insulation in the wheel well. Maybe something there?
Not a new truck to me, have had it about 4 years.
Thoughts on this Blackstone report? I did just replace the alternator which required a bit of engine tear down. Would that influence the copper and silicon levels?
I’ve had my 2010 LX570 for 4 years. First two years I used 0W-20 every 7500 miles. Would routinely drain 5.5 and put in 7.
Two years ago I switched to 5W-30. For a year, same ratio. Take out about 5.5 and put in 7.
Changed the PCV valve about 1.5 years ago.
Oil consumption is getting...
