Going to Flagstaff this weekend and I plan on scouting camping spots along 231. I will post up what I find.

The only issue you might run into are the turns on the switchbacks. You might have to make a several point turn.

On two different occasions, I filled my 100 up in Sedona. About 3/4 of the way up the switchbacks, gas was boiling out of the gas tank via the filler tube. Needless to say, I did not do it again. Not a very exciting story, sorry.
