    For Sale Gossamer: 1987 FJ60 4BT H55 in IL

Totally didn't think of that. I just downloaded one and will check at lunch. It really run and ride nicely so I don't want to split it. If I got someone interested in the roller or the drivetrain then that would force my hand.

After 3 days of trying to get my GoPro hero5 to record GPS data since the speedo doesn't work I finally had it fixed... only to have my computer crash. Trying to get this done before it breaks again so this is the video unedited and I'm getting back to everyone asap. (I don't have an external...

    Gossamer... the saga continues

So there was a minor leak at the front of the motor that got bad, quickly, last week. Did some quick research on Cummins forums and it seems the front main isn't an uncommon leak so it was time to buy some parts. Finding the parts to purchase proved to be harder than the installation...

    Gossamer... the saga continues

Maybe. I had huge plans for, and already started designing, things I wanted to attempt with the truck (linked 80 axles, aluminum tig welded rack/bumpers). Lately I need to be a little more realistic. Let it sit and pay a small note every month and wait until these pricks start salting the roads...

    Gossamer... the saga continues

I've had quite a few extremely stressful attorney filled weeks since I last posted. On top of that my lady and I bought a house and I've been mulling over starting a small business. With all that I haven't done much as I've had absolutely no time. I go to work everyday and then come home and...

    Gossamer... the saga continues

Thank you. I don't have the info handy as it bet its in the stock of random paperwork and receipts somewhere in the shop. The closest I could find was a Duralast replacement PNs are as follows; Part Number: PS329 Alternate Part Number: OP76021 Thanks for the heads up. I'm reading up on it now...

    Gossamer... the saga continues

I'm a welder and machinist currently. Yeah, I am kind of at a crossroads of what to do with the truck now. Before I was researching a bunch on how to run the 80's axles and suspension without swapping the entire frame. Seriously thought of buying a cheap one, cutting everything off the frame...

    Gossamer... the saga continues

I removed all the wiring, sending units, and gauges still in the custom panel and placed them neatly in a box. They are just sitting in the back of the truck now along with other parts I started to compile over the winter/spring.

    Gossamer... the saga continues

Well since I did a ton of work in the last 6+ months and just never shared it I will keep this going. This is about the hurdles I encountered while trying to get the stock gauges to work. First I got the cluster in and made sure things like the voltage and fuel level worked, which the did. The...

    Gossamer... the saga continues

Yeah, if I would have started with the worst case scenario I probably could have saved myself 16 hours or so. Fixing and replacing the entire harness took me roughly 4-5 BUT I now know FJ40 and FJ60 wiring like the back of my hand. Also, I know I can have a 4BT swap running using the stock...
