AC Delco does not go in the original position, does not have the tabs on the back. I went to RHD Japan and purchased the OEM canister, a lot cheaper than locally. Using Toyota OEM part number 77704-60290. Currently have the AC Delco plugged in until the OEM arrives. Highly recommended you check...

It is a Foxwell device and software. OBD2 plug. Charcoal cannister/EVAP was not showing up on the scan.

Canister was selling my soul to British Petroleum.

Fuel economy confirmed over hilly terrain and on the flat, city driving.

Just the charcoal canister. The old unit must have completely failed.

Replaced the charcoal canister with the AC delco unit. Economy is now verified at 16L/100km.

Update. Replaced the charcoal cannister. Economy is now 16L/100km and getting more power.

Are you guys finding that this improves your fuel economy?

Issue I may have is there is an aftermarket ECU on the exhaust now. There was no O2 and now I have a wideband. Hopefully this canister fixes the issues and I will have to get a refund.

Replaced the hoses today. Stunk like badly of fumes. Also threw in a foam intake cleaner to see if anything was blocked that end.

I have the OEM coming from Japan and the AC Delco 215-153 arriving on the 5th of October. The troubling thing for me is I have replaced all items including engine rebuild, installed aftermarket ECU with a wideband O2 sensor, previously no O2 sensor at all down stream.
