    RTH - AC issues

It is an LX. I checked the filters and ran it without them as a well. They weren't terrible, but definitely gonna replace them when I can find them in stock at an auto parts store. Ya, the blower always was speeding up in down with the button, atleast audibly. It's back working at 100% now...

    RTH - AC issues

Good question, this morning it was full up. Noticed it a few hours into the drive today. I haven't, gonna check that tonight. And I'll check, but evaporator fins would only affect temperature, not airflow right? Temp is solid.

    RTH - AC issues

Searched as hard as I can while on this roadtrip and can't find much. Here's what I know: -AC is blowing weak (maybe 25% flow at max) -replaced blower motor an hour ago, so it's good and it sounds like it's running at its max in the max position -what little air that does get out the vents is...

For Sale North Carolina: 2002 LX470 185k mi

I bought it as a cheap rig and have put thousands into working on it myself. If I had paid everyone to do all the work on I'd be in for well over $10k for just mechanical fixes. Last time I buy a cheap truck, now I'm fully commited to buy once cry once haha. Trying to get that much because...

For Sale  North Carolina: 2002 LX470 185k mi

Before ya read: I'm living in Italy for the next few years but left the rig with my family in NC as my brother's daily (he's 25, not a kid lol), so mileage will creep up. Trying to bring back a cool 70 series or Defender so I'm looking to let the rig go. Don't let me being overseas dissuade...

    Front Differential/CV Failure Dilemma.

Was on a work trip for a month. Just got back and called the shop to pick up the truck so I could do the front diff swap in the driveway. Owner of the shop proceeds to tell me that 'the wildest thing happened. When they put it back together and tried to get it out of the shop it seemed like...

    Front Differential/CV Failure Dilemma.

Thanks guys, the shop owner had me half wondering if I was retarded. I think what pisses me off the most is that I acutally believed these were good people. The mistake I understand, I wrench on rigs. s*** happens. But they have insurance. The fact that they can't admit that it's an...

    Front Differential/CV Failure Dilemma.

Hey dudes, have a sad one today. I'm in quite a pickle here, looking for advice/stories about experiences yall have had like this. Everything helps. TL;DR: My front diff grenaded on a road trip, shop that installed CVs just prior is saying it isn't their fault, and that it'll be $4k to...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Learned that the front diff will run for approximately 88.8 miles with no oil. Luckily I had some friends also driving home from the ski slope about 20 mins behind me, so I didn't waste too much time being stranded. Hoping the shop that just installed my new CVs will be legit and own up to...

    Brauski's LX470 Build "Linz"

Linz is back from the shop, and she feels like a new rig! The clunk is gone, and all the play in the steering that made the truck feel 20 years old is gone. It's unreal. Finally took some time to update the stickers, it's starting to become quite the collection. Left side is trips the rig...

    Brauski's LX470 Build "Linz"

Finally got around to doing the AHC lift. Bought the 4x4 Japan AHC Shock spacers years ago, but finally was able to get the rest of the parts and install em. Went with LC TBs up front, have the King springs in the back (may need coil spacers for heavy trips), and found these awesome aftermarket...
