    Trailer Lid materials

    I love the Lid idea's. They both look great. I do like the lower style that Dingdong posted a picture of. But both are nice. I hate looking at the trailer posts on this site, nothing but new idea's..... X2, any finished picks ?

    Thanks Guy's, Both set-ups are nice. Guess I should have looked around a little better. I think iam going to go with the Lock N' Roll system. Just need to install a receiver onto my trailer. Cruzzer, got your PM. Think I will take you up on the offer.....

    Gruzzer, Took my lunette to a welder here in town to look at. Told me that I was looking at $45-$50 to make the repairs. I asked about the weld being strong enough to haul the trailer with weight in it and he Laughed. Said it would break someplace other than the weld if it were to break...

    I don't know what it is for certain, but your going to need one of these. :wrench: For only $200 I'd buy it.... You know Sears and U-Haul had trailers like this in the 50's and 60's.

    I have the ring and the Lunett shaft, but it is broken clean off at the base of the ring. Don't know if I would trust a weld,,,,,,, Will post a photo later after it stops raining.......

    I have seen this site before (Trailer Parts). I thought that $185 for the Lunette was a little high even with it being NOS. I would be happy with a good used on. (Lunette that is). But thanks for the Links.....

    I thought that the Lunette was interchangable, but the cast part was not? Maybe I did'nt read it right, but that's what I thought I seen....
