Thank you for the detailed reply. I keep going back and forth on the HID's. My worry is that the ballasts will take up too much room in the engine bay, and become multiple new points of failure. But of course I love the look. If it was more "plug and play" I would do it in a moment. I just...

Do you have any leads on LED reverse lights that you like? I guess I worry that there will be too much in the way of extra transformers, etc. but perhaps I am overthinking it.
