And that's the same reason why when I turn the key to shut off the engine it still runs a few more seconds (and sometimes reving) before shutting off?

I've got some newer aftermarket carb in there (not sure what make) but it's got an electric choke. So you guys think it's the timing? How do I go about doing that. I've got very minimal wrenching experience but it gotta learn someday right?

Hey guys my 79 pig backfired the other day after work causing an explosion of my muffler I assume. Any ideas as to what might have caused it? It sounded like a loud gunshot. But then afterwards started up just fine though it sounded different. Only to find out later that the muffler blew out...

These 4 are the passenger side. As you can see there's not much in there to hold the fender onto. Also the absence of the rod from the frame to the fender as on the drivers side. thanks!

First 3 are drivers side which I haven't had any issues with that side. Note the spray foam if you can see it.
