How to install DEPO clear corner lights onto LX470

Under the steering wheel, way in there, with very tiny hands.

    RTH: Removing the starter...

I did remove the bolt holding the wiring bracket to the trans. I couldn't get to the DS bolt without moving the wires out of the way. Good tip in the vacuuming of the ports. I've got everything soaking for the night and will get back to it tomorrow. Still need to figure out how to remove the...

    RTH: Removing the starter...

Thanks. I did remove the bolt from the wire housing. Just not much slack to play with to turn it sideways and get a wrench on that nut.

    RTH: Removing the starter...

Any tips on removing the nut? The yellow box has a collar around that nut making it hard to slip a socket on it.

    RTH: Removing the starter...

Thanks. The pic was taken right after I pulled the intake. I stuffed shop towels in the ports and cut some plywood to sit across the valley.

    RTH: Removing the starter...

Well, I'm the thick of it now. Monday morning is fast approaching and this is where I'm at: I got the two 14mm mounting bolts and the 12mm wire box bolts out and soaked it overnight in PB blaster. Finally got it to budge. Now I'm stuck figuring how to undo the lug and connector. Is there...

Owl Expedition Products: Fire extinguisher mount, media mount, puddle lights, etc.

I keep my Victron charger behind the passenger side headlight, in front of the airbox. It'd probably be easy to fab something that mounts under the airbox and then turns up vertically in front of it.

The ABCs of AHC - How to Measure, Flush, and Adjust all in one place

I haven't used all of them but I have experience with the iCarsoft TYT II simply because it's one of the most affordable handhelds. I tried Techstream but didn't like it. Depending on your laptop situation, it's just not packaged in a way that's comfortable to use around a vehicle. The...

The ABCs of AHC - How to Measure, Flush, and Adjust all in one place

Thanks for doing this! It might be a little early for edits, but for Section A, item 5, it might be helpful to mention alternatives to Techstream like the handheld OBD readers from iCarsoft (my recommendation is the TYT II, but there are other models) and bluetooth readers like OBDLink which...

    Sensor lift

The system is automatic. It will self-level when it needs to. Totally normal.

    M2V2 Phone Mount thread....

Thanks, I was close. The composite base is taller than the metal so some 1.5" long bolts should be able to cover both types.

    M2V2 Phone Mount thread....

Sweet! They're a little cheaper than the metal base units. Can you confirm the thread pitch of the bolts you provided for mounting?

    Sensor lift

What I'm seeing is pretty typical. The drivers side has the fuel tank, driver weight, battery etc. so it tends to sag lower than the passenger side over time. If you want to cross level, it should be done with the engine off so you get a true reading of the preload without the AHC helping...

    M2V2 Phone Mount thread....

Honestly, I don't know. I fished them out of my SAE hardware stash. I want to say they're #8-32 x 1.5" but I don't have an SAE thread gauge handy. Maybe @suprarx7nut or @BenCC can chime in on what the provided bolt threads are?

    M2V2 Phone Mount thread....

Just in case anyone is wondering, you can get a composite diamond base RAM ball to fit in the M2V2 with a little file work and some longer screws. It'd be nice if the mount was made so that it would fit both the composite and aluminum versions just in case anyone happens to have an existing...
