Quick update... I finished up the mods aft of the front wheels. I ended up turning the "U" shaped bracket into an "L" shape such that the mounting hole was now ~1/2 inch or so further back. Then I drilled a new hole in the liner and bolted it down with the factory bolt. I thought I had taken...

TRD Pro BBS and LX 570 stock TPMS sensors?

@CharlieS is it a communication/connection issue or physical fit issue? I just looked it up on densoautoparts.com for my 2011 LX and it says 550-0103. given the various feedback I’m now debating between Toyota brand vs something else, like Denso.

TRD Pro BBS and LX 570 stock TPMS sensors?

295/70 with 1.25” spacers. I found the Densos on Rockauto for $30 so I’ll probably go that way.

TRD Pro BBS and LX 570 stock TPMS sensors?

Thanks y’all. I’m going to order new Denso sensors since these are ten years old. Then I’ll get the work done at another shop. @bloc ill hit you up when I get these installed if I have any problems. I’ve been running around with the wheels and tires I bought so this will be transfer to an...

TRD Pro BBS and LX 570 stock TPMS sensors?

Ok, more details... the kit is $10.99 but 2 hours of labor to move them over plus reprogram sensors to vehicle again at $180/hr. That still sounds outrageous to move TPMS sensors. This is at a Lexus dealer.

TRD Pro BBS and LX 570 stock TPMS sensors?

I purchased a set of TRD Pro BBS wheels and I've asked my dealer to move my 2011 LX 570 sensors to the TRD wheels. They want almost $400 for a "fitting kit" plus labor. This doesn't include balancing. This seems insane. Are the TRD Pro wheels really that different from the stock wheels that it...

295/70/18 is a tire size that you should consider*

Alrighty, spent the afternoon taking a wire wheel to all of the mating surfaces, installing 1.25” spacers and then the wheel and tires. love the look! Wife likes the look as well. 🤩 I need to address the bracket and plastic at the rear of the front wheels, it did rub there but otherwise looks...

295/70/18 is a tire size that you should consider*

so you've gone to the 1.25" and you don't have issues with the fender at 12 o'clock when in low position? It seemed so close but possible that it would tuck in as it went through the range of motion. I'm going to try the 1.25" that I have and see how it fits now that I've done the fender liner...

295/70/18 is a tire size that you should consider*

More progress tonight. I followed the suggestions from the Full Fat 35s thread for the fender liner and the mods came out nicely. Once I figured out how all the clips and such came together the second side took me maybe 30 min to complete. I haven’t ordered my 1” spacers yet but had I to do a...

295/70/18 is a tire size that you should consider*

Diameter seemed in the correct ballpark when measured with a tape measure, 34.25-ish, but it was hard to be precise. Another data point is weight Stock Lexus 20" wheels and worn Pirelli in stock size: ~80lbs Nittos plus TRD Pro BBS wheels: ~96lbs

295/70/18 is a tire size that you should consider*

thanks guys, I was pouring over the full fat thread last night as well as your earlier one where you said you only needed a bit of adjustment because anything bigger was for more serious wheeling and you’d have to have a beater. Heh. I’m going to order 1” spacers, make the mods and try it...

295/70/18 is a tire size that you should consider*

I installed the front tires/wheels today, but with a 1.25” spacer and ridge grapplers. I’m not seeing how this could fit without work, and not at all in some spots. Then It dawned on me that I have a 100% stock LX and @tbissacs is running an aftermarket bumper. there is interference at the...

Gonna try this size shortly. Found a set of used TRD Pro wheels with this exact tire size for sale. I’ll report back on any interference issues.
