Hey Crusher, The brake setup i have works great. I havent done anything special, just the 60 MC when the 55 one went out. the truck is a 76, so the proportioning valve was made for discs anyway. no problems. Bash

Thanks for the reply Boss, I had the heaters going and the lights-a-flashin last night while i was wiggling wires, but it didnt blow. i should check the reverse switch wiring though; that was the last thing i worked on. thanks for the tip MB

grncobra, the Dynamat works but i am not convinced it is the best solution. certainly not the cheapest. i have about $300 in dynamat and more in closed cell foam behind the headliner. i would be curios to try Lizard Skin or something, but i have blown my sound-deadening budget. my next step is...
