I occasionally get a similar noise and I just haven't worried about it -- seems relatively normal. Just had the vehicle completely inspected and serviced by Torfab too, and there was nothing of note.

I had this issue as well and my understanding is it's fairly common. My locker indicator would blink on the dash, but then never actually engage. Was due to a bad 4WD low sensor. Got it replaced and now no issues.
