I purchased the 12HT drivetrain out of that beautiful beast. I’m currently restoring a 43 that the drivetrain will reside in here in California.

Yeah that’s the guy. I got the 12HT that came out of his beige troopy. Slowly but surely getting the build done.

Blasting last weekend was great until I unveiled Swiss cheese aka a botched body that looked like it was glued together with JB weld. To be continued

Saturday I finished pulling the remaining parts off the FZJ80 in preparation for the Hotsy bath. a few hours of pressure washing with hot hot water and some deep purple and the chassis turn out looking newer than a 94 chassis.

Drivetrain from the FZJ80 pulled. The chassis is ready for a hot shower.

27 OCT 2019: Saturday’s are for the boys and breaking down this 94 FZJ80. Got the interior taken out in a hour. ...... 8 hours later I learned a lot to say the least. more to come next week: Operation HOTSY!! Finish prepping all things 40 for the blasting of the sand.

Some more shots of the 12HT sitting on the mounts with the manual steering box sitting nice and snug next to the turbo. After getting the 12HT set to where we thought was good, we took her out, put her back in storage for the time being and continued with the taking apart of whitey. 12 hours...
