I’m a long way from efi. Have a lot to do before I get there, but it’s on the list of ideas. Will probably happen, but after lift, brakes, new 33’s, paint, interior, new gear oil all around, etc. EFI and ac are a little down the line. Try to be complete in 2 years. Hope sooner.

60-65 on a nice flat highway. The Coronado trail part of US191 is a 15-35 mph highway at best in most places. 5-10 mph on a lot of the curves. If you haven’t driven the trail it’s hard to impress on folks what this road is like. There’s one straight stretch you might go 65 for a mile or so...

What are these? Appear to be brass. Along the head between intake manifold and the valve cover. While tinkering with this thing we’ve been wondering they were for.

Like I said on another post, overhauled the carb. Runs really nice except won’t idle unless part choked. Then idles fast. Idling too lean. The idle shut off will click when jumped and in the carb. Couldn’t get it to click out of the carb. Can’t seem to get it grounded. Removed the idle...

Thanks for the info. I’ll call him tomorrow. Installed the rebuilt carb today. Fired up and runs smooth but doesn’t want to idle without about half choke. Adjusted idle needles, didn’t seem to matter. Watched several videos but never figured it out. Having to choke it tells me it’s idling too...

A stance like that is what I’d like. I’ll have to contact curt as well. Is there a number for the guy?

Antenna is on the other side. And there is one of these things on the other side also. Each has a single wire going to it. Can’t tell if it had a bulb or what the heck it is.

And I live “west” of new mex. in AZ. 30 miles east would kinda be in Texas. I’m truly dislexic in directions. I know what I mean but always say it wrong. But I never get lost, unless I’m in town. Weird.
