Four years now on my 80 and the patch is still holding!

So I have known for a long time that my sunroof leaks pretty bar like I am sure everyone else's does. Every once in awhile our local car wash runs promotional things and this time around they are only charging 10 bucks a month for three months for their new wiz bang fancy gotta have it all...

I have thought about doing this. So far I am not having any strange issues. I did clean and reconnect all my engine bay grounds awhile back. My Fusible link is brand new, but all the grounds are original to the truck. Any chance you have a detailed list of what you use and all the connections...

The joint does not seem any larger than the original connection.. I will keep an eye on it. I thought about just eliminating all the quick disconnects. I don't think they are really needed.

Yeah for now I just repaired the broken connector with a male\female spade connector I had laying around. Removed the bad section of wire where the insulation was broken and replaced it with a piece of 10GA wire and a new ring terminal. I think this will work for now..

I was working on some steering components tonight and noticed the ground wire that has multiple connections from under the charcoal canister, to behind the coil, then up to the intake and engine hanger. Two of the wires have clips, which one of mine broke and I noticed the wire was also cracked...

And looks like you need a special tool (SST 09268-45012) to test fuel pressure. I am looking at the testers available for rental from the parts store and they don't appear to have any adapters to fit our fuel delivery pipe.. Anyone have a workaround to test fuel pressure? Edit: Nevermind I...

Interesting this is one thing I have not tried since my MPG has been declining over the years.. I have tried just about everything to get above the 9-10 mpg in the city. Is there a way to test the fuel pump to see if it is having this issue?

I have my old Valor survival knife I have had since I was about 11 years old.. It is the only knife that has stuck with me from my youth.. No idea why though lol. Made in Japan in the 70's and 80's so it is a perfect fit with the Land Cruiser right ;>)

Yeah I sent them an email to see why this vehicle is in the yard and if they would sell it whole.. I have not heard anything back yet and don't expect to. I am guessing maybe it is there due to a broken timing belt? Could not see any other reason to scrap such a decent vehicle..

Yeah I was a bit skeptical about how safe it would be, but did all the math and it ended up I could safely lift like 750 lbs and I knew the head did not weigh anywhere near that. It is more just awkward trying to evenly lift it off and lower it on.. The pulleys worked great.. So good I left...
