It’s a CI TROA tub. Paint will definitely be last. This is just for the bottom of the tub so I can get it on the frame. I’m trying to do as much mock up as I can now.
I appreciate all the responses, I’m sure this isn’t the last time I will go to this well.
Just based on schedule when I can sandblast and have the underneath/inside primed/painted and undercoated to get it put back on frame. Also the way I budgeted I didn’t buy seats yet. I will wait until I do to get the seat components in. Thanks
Thanks. That’s definitely the way I would prefer to do it, I just don’t have the seats yet. I would at least like to get the bracket welded in before I do the interior/underside of the tub.
Any idea what the width of tracks on OEM seats are? Center on center?
Thanks Matt, here are some photos. Just looking to drill all holes and get as much as i can mocked up before the tub gets stripped for body / paint. I have the original seat mounting stuff which you can see just kinda laid out in the photos.
I am working on mocking up a brand new steel tub for a 1978 build and am looking for some information on seat bracket mounting locations. I looked through FAQs and searched around, but couldn't find what I am looking for- which is basically some information on hole location for stock front seat...
Thanks man, you saved me on that. I have been going crazy trying to find those. I looked at JT outfitters but missed them somehow. I really appreciate the help.
