i d strongly suggest you do one drain and fill (correct not flush) every 10k, to help keep fresh fluid in circulation. its easy to do and really not a big deal. seems alot are having transmission issues. Transmission fluid is cheap, new tranmissions arent.

i ll add to this. my 92 civic has a leaking steering rack at 120k, i put a ratio of maybe 50/50 of honda powersteering fluid and lucas stop leak in the powersteering container. I drove like that for over 150k miles without an issue and very little fluid loss down the road. worked for the honda...

so the amsoil severe gear 75w/90 should be fine for the front diff/ rear diff/ and transfer case? Has anyone tried their ATF? I wonder how well the 100series transmissions run with it.

It looks like amsoil is recommending: front/rear diff: (Severe gear 80w-90 or 75w-90 or 75w-110) transfer case: (Manual Transmission and transaxle gear lube 75w-90) Can i just use severe gear 75w-90 in the front/rear diff and the transfer case? If so, why are they recommending other weights...
