TP management knows their pre 79 tubs are being avoided like the plague by -- word has been out sometime. Corrections are being served on a silver platter (cad files, scans etc) if they don't take advantage of our help / product knowledge -- they are destined to fail!

Are you asking about the tooling Toyota used in their line for this part? ex. Stamp Press or Brakes, Roll Forming etc. I worked a number of years in a large regional metal manufacturing facility (I know a little ;)

At this time correcting 77 & 78 due to our own projects needs. Between both of us we have 77-79. From what I know today, I believe 79 is correct.

FYI: An engineer / 40 buddy is creating CAD drawings / 3D scans for TP to correct issues (i'm helping him). Tubs (1/2, 3/4, full) should be nearly perfect when process is completed; they will need to adjust tooling for A,B,C variants -- it's all going to take time.

FYI: Found issues with TP firewall for 76-78 variants (stay tuned).

Working with TP/Factory for corrections on 78 style tubs. More specifically, my neighbor / engineer / 40 expert is sending them cad / 3d drawings. The latest drawings included missing heat insulator shields and mounting points brackets (there are other items being addressed too). Stay Tuned!

The vinyl mat will 100% absorb heat, unless it has a radiant barrier; if that's the case, it's not in the heat products section of their website. I would test a spot with a heat gun or hair dryer before installing if nothing else. For a few extra bucks and effort you will not regret adding a...

That's a decent MLV mat at a good price. Are you laying heat deflection / insulation under the MLV? My plan is a 5mm heat insulation product under the MLV to mitigate heat radiating through MLV. I'm currently reviewing HVAC / Furnace products, 95% of the auto products have adhesive and overpriced.
