I seem to recall reading that someone had ordered a Wells charcoal canister from Rock Auto and actually received an OEM Toyota one. Not sure if the same would happen with a VSV. I am curious if replacing this would help with the vapor issues, as I am experiencing that problem as well.

I tried it both ways, didn’t make a difference.

Did you read your AHC pressures before and after replacing them with stock springs? Curious to know how much it changed.

I am willing to adjust the ride hight if needed, but would like to keep it as close to stock as possible and would prefer to only go up. Correct me if I'm wrong but if I go with the Kings and find the pressures to be too low I would have to raise the ride hight right?

What kind of extra weight do you have on your rig? Bumpers, sliders, etc?

From what I've been reading the Kings sound like they might be too stiff, not sure though. Do you have personal experience with them? I worry that if I went that route, my pressure would drop too low and end up with a bouncy ride... but that can be resolved by adjusting the height sensor?

Is there a thread or any collection of information that explains options for rear springs to help high rear AHC pressures? I've looked over the ones that I can find, but there doesn't seem to be a real consensus on how much each option lowers the pressure. My rear pressure is a little high at...

Thought I’d update this thread and thanks for all the information. I ended up rebooting/greasing both axles with the OEM kit and all the play I was feeling has gone away. Just took each end apart, ran through the parts washer and reassembled with new boots and grease, pretty easy job.

I recently had my 2001 LX470 on a rack and noticed my passenger inner CV boot is leaking grease. When I grab and wiggle the inner part of the CV axle where it meets the front differential I noticed there is a significant amount of up and down play, way more than the driver side. Is it possible...
