Hi all. I'm selling a 93 80 series. 187k, stock, no lockers, recent plugs, cap, rotor, wires, air filter. Also $750 spent on new rear brakes (lines, LSPV, calipers, pads) last month. Back up. Still have this truck, just doesn't do it for me. Learned a few things about it in the past month.

Alarm I assume needs to be eliminated. No alarm fob, alarm goes off if the door is left open too long. Battery dies throughout the week.

Sunroof leaks. Not horribly but enough to fog the windows on the inside after rain. Also doesn't open. Never checked out why.

I have driven this truck twice and it runs real smooth, the brakes work good, suspension is tight, everything besides the sunroof works. First time I drove it the auto tranny seemed to slip a bit going out of my driveway over a lip, drove fine with no problems after that around my neighborhood including many stops. Second time, a week or two later, no slipping issues. My Dad thinks it was just because it was sitting. I stick to my standards, but I think it may just need a flush.

Truck is not registered or insured, but you can gladly take it for a spin. I never registered it but do have title and bill of sale.

To da top... Perfect spare change wheeler. Alarms a 4 hr job, sunroof can't be that hard. Drives smoother than my wife's 96. If it was locked and painted I'd probably be sellin hers instead. I'm just not an 88 and up cruiser guy. Heck, any car for that matter...

Wow. Surprised. If someone told me 20 years ago I couldn't sell a running, driving 80 for 2K I would have told them they were cuckoo... I guess 80's are the new 60, 60's are the new 40, and 40's are the new gold standard...

Quick question.....is the dieing battery issue due to the fob/alarm issue or is this a mystery issue?

Alarm. Guy in my club had same problem. Followed a thread here on mud and eliminated the alarm and wiring and problem solved. Apparently took 3 to 4 hours.
