Well it looks like Toyota is not going to support the old girls anymore!
Just got off the phone with 2 dealers and it is no longer available! Zero stock in North America! I can get it aftermarket for 670.00!!!!!
I guess it is going to be a recore!

LIke Crushers told me, get yours recored. Cost is about 300 bucks.

try a better toyota guy.

Some toyota parts guys are not helpful. There may be stock in the international warehouse in California.

Personally I would re-core with a professional shop.

I got a 4 core OEM rad a few years ago for about $400. My 20+ year old three core was still good after all that time. I needed a 4 core for the A/C.

Looks like a recore...tried the two dealerships..no luck...one guy checked Toronto,Vancouver and California...no luck.

Make sure you trust the shop. The last one I made recore last only 1 year !...

You could get a production FJ rad and have the outlet(s) moved as needed.

Many professional recorers will warranty their rads for a loooong time. Check into who's good and who's not by how long they will warranty it for.

For past purchases when nothing was available in NA it went on back order for me. With in a few weeks I found out it was found in Butt fawk somewhere and heading my way. Maybe Japan I dunno. But I have had success ordering from aboard thru my local guy.

a warranty is only as good as the one offering it... so caution is still needed. USUALLY (not always) you get what you pay for.

Does the BJ60 use the same rad as a BJ70? I ordered a 4 core from Toyota a couple months ago for my BJ74 and got it in a couple days. Part number 16400-58170

no.

Do the BJ60 radiators have both outlets on the same side with that partition in the middle so the coolant flows from one to the other and back again?

both of them are on the lh side(looking from the drivers seat always).

If the truck is older with out pwr steering the top outlet will be on the rh side. They switched around 83 ishhh I dunno..

yep, depending on which year you have there ae different part numbers...

you could always try the other number and do a thermostate swap... BTDT.
