PO repainted in Galactic Gray and did a pretty extensive refurb in Texas with a little lift, some QoL additions. In great condition.

PO reported doing since 2020, since 180k mi. (original post at SOLD - Texas - 2000 Land Cruiser - $23k - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/texas-2000-land-cruiser-23k.1366985/#post-16053624) -- have their records since taking ownership in 2020:

• Professional Custom Paint: Full repaint in 2023 to Toyota Galactic Gray by Eagle Paint & Body, with all doors, windshield, and trim removed for a high-quality finish.
• Powertrain:
  • Doug Thorley Headers and flow master muffler installed in 2022, improving exhaust flow and sound.
  • OEM Timing and drive belt replacement in 2020.
  • Valve cover gaskets in 2020.
  • Spark plugs, fuel filter replaced in 2020.
  • OEM Radiator in 2020.
• Drivetrain/Suspension:
  • Ironman 2” Lift kit installed, providing improved ground clearance and off-road capability.
  • OEM CV Axles replaced in 2020.
  • OEM Rack and Pinion with alignment in 2020, ensuring precise steering.
• Brakes: OEM brake pads and rotors replaced in 2020.
• Wheels & Tires:
  • Method 703 17x8.5 wheels (including a matching 5th spare).
  • New Nitto Ridge Grappler tires 285/70R17
• Exterior:
  • Ironman front bumper
  • Custom powder-coated rock sliders
  • Undercarriage in incredible condition
• Seating: Front seats have been reupholstered with high-quality Lseat leather. The second-row leather is in good condition, and the original third-row seats are present and in good shape.
• Electronics: All power windows, locks (with new lock motors in 2024), and mirrors are fully functional. Window switches finicky but functional. The AC blows ice cold.
• Audio System: A significant audio upgrade includes a Sony XAV-5000 head unit with a backup camera and Apple CarPlay, Rockford Fosgate door speakers, and an 8” subwoofer with amplifier (installed in 2021) for a premium sound experience.
• Lighting: All interior cabin lights have been upgraded to modern LED lighting.
• Gauges: All dashboard gauges are fully functional.

We are the 3rd owner. Looks like first owner reported some damage and/or accident and previous owner did some dent pulling after hail damage (before repainting). Honestly could not tell. There is one ding on the hood that I've pointed out in the photo album.

Will upload service records reflecting the work we've done since taking ownership:

• Replaced starter, relays, neutral safety switch
• Replaced the fuel level sender for a fully functional gas gauge
• Sat the car when we noticed a coolant issue a couple of months ago: went ahead and did timing belt and water pump, fan clutch, a/c condenser fan, radiator, thermostat, hoses. Issue seems resolved and has not reoccured.
  • After this a bolt in the oil pump backed itself out (?) and the new o-ring was bad – made a bit of a mess but now all seems good to go.

In preparation for sale we got a PPI from a local dealer done and will upload this in the Drive:

• Replaced tie rods and steering sub assembly
• Dealer reports apparent small rear main seal leak but listed fluid leaks as "OK" on the PPI-- hard to confirm if an active leak/weeping or was just oil from the pump bolt / o ring issue previously
  • Actively monitoring and have seen no oil consumption or a leak sufficient to make it to the ground, but will address if not sold quickly or an issue becomes more apparent
• Dealer reports also cracked ball joints and suggested replacing the entire control arms and ball joints preventatively but we decided to forego that for now
• Dealer reports and we can confirm that the CV boots have tears though listed them as "OK" – given the lift & torsion bars cranked it will probably require diff drop or the more heavy duty Tundra boot fix to address more permanently? Will address if no one interested quickly

Other quirks that I'm aware of:

• Rear hatch lever slightly loose, still functional
• The 'bar' LED lights on the bumper not connected (see video of light functionality)
• Window motors are strong but the switches are finicky and could use some attention at some point
• We use the bluetooth to the stereo but to be honest have never figured out the Apple CarPlay reported by PO

Bottom line is that this thing is in great condition, strong and maintained mechanically, good history of preventative maintenance and many QoL things addressed (interior reupholstery, improved sound system, back-up camera). Entirely and incredibly rust free given its life in Texas.
Will scan the PPI and more recent records tomorrow and put them in the linked Google Drive.
