A note up front for anyone who saw this last summer: I listed this truck once before and pulled it. It was coming due for the timing belt, and rather than sell it with that hanging over the next owner, I took it off the market and did the full timing belt / water pump / cooling job myself over the winter. So if this looks familiar, that's why — it's the same truck, now with baseline service already behind it.
Maintenance history (chronological, my ownership):
I did most of this work myself and have parts receipts (Toyota, Aisin, RockAuto, etc.). The transmission has the Toyota shop invoice. I'll provide a receipts PDF and a maintenance spreadsheet to a serious buyer.

This is a 21-year-old, 242k WV truck, and I'd rather you hear the flaws from me than find them yourself:
Modifications: Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires larger than stock. Tread 9/32 to 11/32. Running boards delete. Otherwise close to stock.

- Dec 2025 — Timing belt, water pump, hydraulic tensioner, tensioner & idler pulleys (Aisin TKT-021 kit); radiator, thermostat, all cooling hoses; serpentine belt, idler & tensioner pulleys; 8 ignition coils & 8 iridium plugs; bypass/crossover O-rings; oil & filter. Done at ~238,700.
- Jul 2024 — Rear rotors, calipers, pads
- Apr 2024 — Front rotors, calipers, pads
- Sep 2023 — Gas tank, vapor canister, skid plate
- Aug 2023 — Ignition lock cylinder
- Jun 2021 — Toyota remanufactured transmission, installed by Toyota at 166,000 (≈76k on the unit now)
- May 2021 — Front and rear shocks (OEM); heater tees and connecting hoses
- Aug 2020 — Windshield replaced and rusted windshield bed properly repaired (prior bad install by a previous owner — unrelated to the underbody)
- Jun 2020 — Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires, installed at 160,505
- Jan 2020 — Driver-side catalytic converter

- Underside: Surface rust throughout — it's a West Virginia truck, not a Scottsdale truck. I've filmed the frame in detail (continuous underbody pass, screwdriver-tested at the rails, crossmembers, and rear mounts). It's scaled but solid — no perforation, nothing rusted through, rings solid everywhere it counts. - Exhaust: Needs a muffler and resonator. Currently louder than it should be.
- CEL: On for passenger-side cat efficiency — may clean up with the exhaust work, but disclosed as-is.
- A/C: Blows cold but has a slow seasonal leak; a can in spring brings it back. Haven't chased the leak since it's that slow.
- Other: One ~3" tear in the driver's seat leather; passenger rear vent-window motor inoperative; steering wheel telescopes in/out but the up/down tilt motor is dead; parking brake cable needs replacement.
