A very nice example of an old dark green Land Cruiser tool box. The dark green color is hard to make out in the pictures - it really pops out in person. The exterior has scratches here and there - the interior is pretty darn nice. Latches tightly. Two very small dents on opposite corners of the lid, small enough where they were tough to photograph.
There were two versions of this box produced, the difference being in the shape of the letters and logo. One has more rounded letters and logo than the other, and I believe the rounded-letter version, which this box is, is the earlier of the two. I estimate that it dates in the 1958 -1963 range. Measures 14 1/4” x 8” x 3”.
It isn’t perfect, but it is still probably in the top 5% of its class - I have seen only a handful that have been nicer, hence the high price tag. Price includes shipping to the US.
