The bracket is designed to be a direct bolt-on part for 1995–1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series / Lexus LX 450 1996 - 1997 (there is no need to remove factory firewall studs on US-spec models).
For 1992–1994 models, information varies on whether the upper nut was factory-welded to the body. If your model does not have a welded nut, a rivet nut will need to be installed.
