I am selling my 2008 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 5.7L V8 4WD. I bought it in February 2020 with 142,321 miles, and it currently has 196,961 miles. Selling because there is a new driver in the family and I needed something smaller - had to make the tough choice between selling this or the 100 series.
This truck has been reliable, tough, and well cared for during my ownership. To put it bluntly she is not going to win a beauty contest. There are dents, dings, scratches, scuffs, and cosmetic scars around the truck, all of which were there when I bought it. There is no known accident history. Mechanically, it has been solid, and there are no known current mechanical issues, warning lights, or leaks.
Highlights / Extras
The truck has Toyota dealer service history back to pre-delivery plus my owner maintenance notes since purchase. Dealer history includes prior brake work, fluids, frame inspection/treatment, coolant valley plate reseal, and Toyota recall/software work
Notable maintenance since I bought it include:
Oil changed every ~5k with OEM filter and Amsoil 0W-20; Driveshaft greased every other oil change. I baselined all fluids when I bought it with AMSOIL
A bit rough cosmetically. Dents, dings, scratches, and scuffs are visible around the body and all predate my ownership. If you want a pristine body, this is not the truck. If you want a maintained CrewMax 4WD Tundra that you will not be afraid to use, this fits that role well.
Interior
Cloth interior with seat covers up front. Driver seat is fair; the rest of the interior is good. The front driver's lower plastic seat cover came off and has not been reinstalled because of a broken plastic clip. Android Auto head unit and ScanGauge are installed. Aftermarket heated drivers seat.
Tires / Suspension
Nitto Terra Grappler G2, 275/70R18, about 7-8/32" tread. There is some uneven wear on the rear tires that had previously been up front; an alignment corrected the issue. Bilstein 5100 shocks front and rear.
Undercarriage
Frame is solid and there is little rust, it has normal age/use corrosion in places, but I have photos for transparency. Toyota dealer history includes frame inspection/treatment and no perforation found.
Known Issues
Sale Terms
