1997 Toyota FZJ80 Landcruiser
Up for sale is my 1997 FZJ80 Land Cruiser. I built this rig out for overlanding, but my needs have changed and I’m transitioning to a minivan since my family is growing. My loss is your gain.
It runs, drives, and stops. I recently took it on a 3+ hour road trip with zero issues. It’s reliable, but it is a classic '90s Toyota, so it has a couple of minor quirks.
Highlights & Upgrades:
Suspension & Tires: 3-inch Old Man Emu (OME) Lift, Delta Panhard adjustment bracket, and Delta rear bump stop extensions. Riding on Black Rhino wheels wrapped in 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Legend tires (includes a full-size spare).
Armor & Exterior: Near-brand-new full ARB front bumper with ultra-bright LED floodlights, a full-length Prinsu roof rack, and White Knuckle Rock Sliders.
Off-Grid Power & Camp Setup: Cascadia 4x4 solar panel mounted to the rack with an MPPT charge controller directly to the battery. Comes with a 270-degree awning and an overlanding pressurized water tank.
Interior & Tech: Upgraded Bluetooth touchscreen radio. Original 3rd-row seating is included!
Recent Maintenance:
Fresh front brakes
New front window regulators and motors
New water bypass pipe, new belts, and oil change
New oil pressure sensor sender
Birfield Axles Serviced
Cons:
Sunroof: Currently inoperable, but it is sealed tight and does not leak.
Front seats: Don’t go back and forth, easy fix I have just not got around to it.
Rear Locks: Power locks don't actuate on the back doors, but they lock and unlock manually just fine.
Engine Tick: There is a slight mechanical tick at idle. It has been there since I bought it, doesn't affect power, and the engine runs incredibly strong.
Price: $10,000 OBO
