1983 FJ60. 5.3/4L60E swapped. Excellent mechanical and interior condition, and decent exterior condition. New OEM-style interior (seat upholstery, door panels, headliner). Everything works. Very reliable. Cruise comfortably at 75 mph at 15 mpg with AC on and loaded down with camping gear. I'd drive it to Alaska tomorrow. Well documented build and lots of maintenance records. 1983 Toyota FJ60. 5.3 L59 Vortec (drive by wire) and 4L60E swap. Meticulous, excellent quality, and well documented swap by previous owner (swap/build thread: Validating browser… - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/cooters-revenge-vorteq-fj60.930633/). OME suspension. Tom Wood's driveshafts. Upgraded front brakes. Working AC and heat. Bluetooth head unit with hands-free mic, four speakers, dual USB-A power ports in dash, and OEM inclinometer. Aftermarket front and rear bumpers, Warn M8000 winch. Full length roof basket with ARB awning. Toyota halogen headlight and relay upgrade. Wiper arm upgrade. Stainless battery tray. Recent new OEM style interior: seat upholstery, door panels, headliner. Four place shoulder belts, and lap belt in middle rear. Clear ceramic window tint on all windows. Recent parts/service: five new 33x10.50x15 BFG KO2 tires, full knuckle job, all new steering rods ends and tie rod, rebuilt steering gearbox, new rear brakes, all new door window weather stripping, new front door window regulators, new front windshield and gasket, new exhaust, all fluids flush/replaced (engine oil, ATF, brake fluid, power steering, coolant, t-case, diffs), new speedometer correction gearbox, new AC compressor, flexible lines, and evaporator, new keys cut from original key code. All gauges, lights, and electrical items work. Wired for trailer lights and brakes (no brake controller installed). Rubber floor mats and 60-series specific windshield sun visor. Snap-in rear seat cover. 4 cup holders. Underside of hood has vibration damping material and the hood stiffener panel has been re-bonded to the hood.

Nicely upgraded, and well maintained and cared for. Very reliable and drives great on highway. Have taken dozens of long road trips in this, all over Texas and Oregon. I’d load my family in and drive it to Alaska tomorrow without hesitation. 15 mpg at 75 mph with AC on, loaded down with people, camping gear, and bicycles on back. Excellent mechanical and interior condition, and decent exterior condition. Tight steering and suspension. Original paint still shines up nicely. Factory undercoating mostly intact.

Issues: Some dents and paint dings. Some small bubbles starting around right rear wheel arch and at bottom of tailgate. Some light surface rust on areas of frame. Intermittent wiper setting inop (low and high work). Front brake shudder under hard braking. Rotors probably need to be turned. Not noticeable in normal stops.

244k miles currently on truck. Swap done in 2016 at 200k miles. At swap, donor engine and transmission had 157k miles. Extensive build and maintenance documentation, and several boxes of spare parts.
